Bridging Course

Objective
To provide learners with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to function as an independent nursing practitioner in delivering scientifically based nursing care as prescribed by the SA Nursing Council


Duration of the course:

  • 2 years

Admission requirements:

  • Senior certificate or equivalent (Grade 12)
  • SANC EN examination results of at least 60%
  • Psychometric GMA score of at least 5.5
  • English Proficiency score of at least 60%
  • Selection interview score of at least 75%
  • SA citizenship

Recognition of course:
The successful learner will be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a General Nurse
